Terms & conditions:

To ensure your trip is pleasant and enjoyable, we would like to inform you in detail of the service that we offer and also list a number of important points which require your attention. These general agreement and travel conditions have been drawn up to create clarity in the interests of both sides. You are therefore requested to read these conditions as carefully as possible. They form an integral part of any contract between you and The Swiss Gateway Limited Liability Company.

* Applicable law:

The contract between the customer and the Swiss Gateway Limited Liability Company, including the question of the formation of the contract, is subject to Swiss law alone.

1. Booking Instructions:
1.1 Reservations should be made as early as possible to guarantee the exact departure and tour of your choice. Final booking is due 6 weeks prior to departure.
1.2 Your information on the registration form (such as name, age, etc.), must be same as your valid passport.
1.3. Under 18 years old, must travel with parents or adults.
1.4 Our company keep the right to refuse the application of the trips.
1.5 The contract between you and The Swiss Gateway Limited Liability Company takes effect upon unconditional acceptance of your booking or your booking reservation by your booking office. From this point in time all rights and obligations detailed in the contract including these general agreement and travel conditions become effective. For reservations make by phone, in writing or booking through the internet, the contract becomes effective, once after we accept and confirm your booking by sending our company's acceptance to your email address. No alteration and cancellation is then allowed.

In the event of the booking person also makes reservations for other participants, that person shall responsible for these participants in addition to himself or herself in respect of compliance with the contracted obligations in particular payment for the tour.

2. Payment Instruction:
All payment must be paid by credit card via our company's internet webpage. All payment must be proved by the banks 6 weeks prior to the departure of the tours.
For the 1 or 2 days tours (i.e. city tours), if there is any vacancies available, you are welcome to reserve the places 1 or 2 days prior to the tour departure. Thus, you must pay on board by Swiss francs in cash.
2.1 Infants: under 2 years old.
      Children: 2 to 11 years old.
      Adults: above 11 years old charges as adult price.
Please keep the payment receipt as the proof of travel payment to our company, besides, a refund in case of cancellation is agreed by our company.
2.2 Price and condition of payment are detailed in the travel program. In the event of late payment, The Swiss Gateway Limited Liability Company reserves the right to refuse the services contracted, to annul the contract and to demand the full payment of the tour fee.
Unless agreed by our company, only cash or credit card payments in Swiss francs is accepted.

3. The service provided by The Swiss Gateway Limited Liability Company is detailed in the appropriate brochure / travel program. Special requests of additional requirements stipulated by you shall constitute part of the contract, only if your additional requirements are confirmed in writing by The Swiss Gateway Limited Liability Company.

4. Cancellation insurance is not included in the price of the tour arrangement. You are therefore strongly advised to purchase such an insurance.

5.1 After the contract is made, Price increases may result from:
- higher transportation costs (including fuel costs)
- new or increased federal taxes, duties or fees (i.e. shipping fees etc.),
- currency exchanges rate fluctuations.
Any resulting increase in travel costs may, in turn, lead to higher prices for travel arrangements. However such price increases will be announced as soon as possible.
5.2 The Swiss Gateway Limited Liability Company reserves the right to cancel or amend the tour programme and /or individual elements thereof (e.g. accommodation, transportation, activities etc.), if obliged to do so by an Act of God of unforeseen circumstances or compelling reasons etc.. In such an event our Company will make every effort to provide a programme of equal value. Our company also undertakes to notify you as quickly as possible of any such programme amendments and resulting prices changes.
Compelling reasons: war, unstable politic, terrorist attacks, natural disasters, epidemic, bad weather, transportation (technical problem , change the frequency / schedules), strikes, industrial action, the government of the tourist destinations / the World Health Organization issued a travel warnings, and the adverse situation that may harm to travellers.
5.3 Your rights in the event of price increases, changes in programme, transportation etc. (after conclusion of contract).
-You can accept the changes of the contract.
- or within 10 days refuse to participate in such a tour by sending us an email or letter.
-or participate the proposed substitute tour of equal value.
- or participate the other tours (notice : you must pay for the surplus, if this tour price is higher than the tour you paid before.

6. Agreed-upon departure times: The tour representative will not wait for participants who fail to arrive on time. The payment of tour is NOT refundable.

7. Should you commence but not complete the tour, no reimbursement of the tour price will be made. After you leave the tour, no responsibilities will be taken by The Swiss Gateway Limited Liability Company.

8. On the day of departure, if you cancel the trip because of your personal reasons, no reimbursement of the tour price will be made. In this respect, we strongly advise you to buy an appropriate travel insurance. (Travel insurance is not included in the price of the tour arrangement).

9. 1. Complaints, and requests for assistance.
Should the tour not correspond with the contracted agreement or should you suffer any damages during the tour, you are obliged to inform the service provider (e.g. hotels and tour bus company) or The Swiss Gateway Limited Liability Company as early as possible (preferably on the same day) and request assistance.
9.2 In the event that no assistance is forthcoming within an appropriate time or that the assistance rendered is inadequate, the alleged damages, failures or lack of assistance must be stated in writing by the service provider or our company within 14 days. However, this shall in no way infer that our company recognize or liable for any such claims for damages.

10. 1 Liability restrictions and exclusions
The Swiss Gateway Limited Liability Company shall assume no liability in the event due to:
- negligence by you or other people, before, or during or after the tour.
- An act of god or circumstances or events, which (despite all due care or attention) could not have been foreseen or avoided by our Company, the intermediary or the service provider. In this case our company will not be obliged pay for any damages or compensation. Likewise, personal injury or death, other losses or damages (damage to property etc.), before or after, or during the tour.
10.2 valuable, cash, jewellery, credit cards etc.
You are liable to the safekeeping of your valuable, cash, jewellery, credit cards , photographic and video equipment etc. The Swiss Gateway Limited Liability Company has no liability for the loss, theft, damage, misuse of cheques, credit cards, valuable etc.

11. Customer shall comply with the regulations and the Swiss Government and shall not keep any prohibited contraband.

12. Our company is unable to guarantee all transportation (e.g. ship, train, tour bus etc.)will be operated to 100 percent efficiently. Delays may occur as the result of heavy traffic, traffic congestion, accident, diversion, unfavourable weather conditions and other circumstances etc. This is beyond the control of The Swiss Ltd. Co. and for which we cannot responsible. You are strongly recommended to take possible delays into consideration when planning your travel arrangements.

13. Insurance:
Liability in respect of trips and excursions. Please take note that your participations of the trips offer by our company is entirely your own responsibility. Therefore, we strongly recommended you to arrange and purchase your adequate travel insurance for accident and illness, property loss etc..

14. Not inclusive terms:-
The expenses which is not included in the travel programs or excursions:
-The tips for the tour guide (SFr. 10 per person per day )
-The tips for the hotel’s bell boy, the tour bus driver etc.
-The tips for the intermediary or the service provider
- All travel insurance.
-The activities which are not arranged in the tour by our company.
- All private consumption (i.e. hotels-internet, pay TV, phone calls, restaurants, shops etc.)
-For the extension of your stay after completing the tour of our company, the hotel room charges, and the pick up services, single room supplement.

- Due to The Act of God of unforeseen circumstances such as war, natural disasters, bad weather, flight cancellation or change the time, traffic delays, strikes, arising additional cost.

15. You have to follow to the tour guides and the instructors arrangement, and instructions. If you always disobey, not respect, insult the tour guides, or hinder the normal activities of the tour, our tour guides have the right to ask you to leave the tour without reimbursement and our company will not responsible for the people who leave the tour during travelling.

*Care tips: Guests participate in various activities, should measure individual physical condition, and the prevailing weather conditions to assess whether he/she should participate in, and follow all safety rules to protect your own security.
