Titlis is a popular tourist spot of Switzerland.
This high mountain (3238 m) in the Urner Alps is located on the border between the cantons of Obwalden and Berne in Switzerland, overlooking Engelberg (Obwalden) and is at the
Lucerne Lake. It is famous as the site of the world's first revolving cable car system (360° rotation) connects Engelberg to the summit of Klein Titlis (where people can visit a glacier cave) through the three stages of Gerschnialp, Truebsee and Stand. The last part of the cable car leads above the glacier.
The top of the mountain has a shopping centre. Inside are some gift shops, restaurants and watch shops. On the mountain only Swiss franc and credit cards can be used. Inside the small shopping centre there is an ice cave, free admission. On the Titlis peak visitors can participate different interesting and exciting activities such as glaciers Flying Chair (Ice Flyer Chairlift), Titlis Glacier Park, glacier walking (Glacier Hike), etc.
